In Case of an Emergency

Country Valley Veterinary Clinic is fully equipped to deal with the vast majority of emergency situations.  We have excellent staff, equipment, and facilities to help your pet through a crisis.  Life-threatening emergencies take precedence over routine care.  However, because we currently have only one doctor, there are occasions when she isn't in the building.  Please call ahead so that the staff members can be prepared for your emergency, and call the doctor in if needed.  On the exceedingly rare occasions that the doctor is actually "off-call" for a day (when she is out of state or too sick to move!), the staff member on duty will assist you in finding a hospital to manage your pet's emergency.

Outside of our regular business hours, we will refer you to one of two properly equipped and staffed hospitals that are able to manage your pet's life-threatening situation.  Also, because we are not staffed overnight or on weekends, if we have a critically ill hospitalized patient, we will recommend transfer to one of these facilities for appropriate overnight care.
